To the list around of stories about strong women who didn't take 'no' with an answer, 'Joy' must be added. The new film by David O. Russell ('Silver Linings Playbook,' 'American Hustle') starring a familiar cast who've added huge gravity to his past films, 'Joy' biographically takes one woman's seed of an product idea and portraits her and also the four generations of her family that count on it. From the self-wringing mop with an empire of her own, Joy (Jennifer Lawrence) set her sights firmly and sustains bruises to achieve success since the matriarch she'd hoped.
